Feline House Soiling
A cat urinating or defecating outside the litter tray, or spraying to mark. The first step is always to rule out illness, since cystitis, stones and especially a blocked bladder in a male cat can be behind it, and a straining cat passing little or no urine is an emergency. Once medical causes are addressed, managed by optimising the litter trays, reducing stress and easing any tension between cats.
