Urinary Incontinence

Leaking urine without meaning to, most often a weak bladder-neck muscle (urethral sphincter mechanism incompetence) in spayed female dogs. Classically leaks while resting or asleep, and is usually very treatable with a once-daily medicine. Other causes (infection, stones, an ectopic ureter) are ruled out first.
