Kennel Cough
A contagious infection of the airways (canine infectious respiratory disease) causing a sudden honking or hacking cough, often after boarding, daycare or the park. Usually clears in one to three weeks in an otherwise-well dog, but a cough with fever, lethargy, poor appetite or laboured breathing needs a vet.
