Constipation & Megacolon

Difficulty passing faeces, from an occasional bout to a permanently stretched, sluggish colon (megacolon). Common and distressing in cats especially, driven by dehydration, pain, stress or an idiopathic colon. A pet that cannot pass faeces, is in pain or is repeatedly vomiting needs the vet.
