Hepatic Lipidosis
Fatty liver in cats: a cat that stops eating can, within days, mobilise fat faster than the liver can process it, especially if overweight. Jaundice is the hallmark, but the time to act is on the not-eating, before the yellow appears. With aggressive assisted feeding, often through a feeding tube, most cats recover; it is frequently fatal without.
