Chronic Hepatitis
Ongoing inflammation and, over time, scarring (fibrosis) of the liver in dogs. Much of the UK picture is idiopathic or immune-mediated and breed-linked rather than copper-driven, and it is diagnosed properly only on a liver biopsy. Treatment aims to slow progression and preserve function, watched through serial bloods.
