What to Watch, and When to Call

A heart pet can be stable a long time, then change over a day or two. The early signs worth a call soon (a rising breathing rate, a new cough, tiring easily) and the red-line emergencies that mean go now (laboured breathing at rest, blue or grey gums, collapse). Print it and keep your vet numbers on it.
