Anal Sac Disease

Trouble with the scent sacs either side of the bottom: impaction (full and uncomfortable), infection or a painful abscess. Shows as scooting, licking the rear, a strong fishy smell or discomfort sitting. Often linked to soft stool, weight or allergies, so persistent cases are worth investigating rather than just emptying.
